The Local Colors Festival is a one-day celebration of Roanoke Valley's cultural diversity.

The Festival starts on Saturday May 17th, as downtown Roanoke's Elmwood Park hosts Local Colors with a family friendly international bazaar of food and entertainment with over 75 countries being represented. Countries will be selling food, crafts, and drinks from their native lands and dancers and musicians will entertain you on the main stage. You can eat pagoras and watch the polka at the same time. It's like a trip around the world without leaving the Park. Special events for kids are planned and held on the area in front of the Roanoke Regional Library.
